Silver Tin Oxide Contacts – SILTIN

MODISON offers complete range of Silver Tin Oxide Contacts in diverse forms manufactured by Powder Metallurgy – Sintering and Extrusion. Fine Silver layer is perfectly bonded with the Silver Tin Oxide contact material by a special process at the time of extruding and processing the material.

Silver Tin Oxide as a Contact Material has been developed mainly as an alternate for Silver Cadmium Oxide for ecological
considerations.

However this material is superior to Silver Cadmium Oxide vis-à-vis erosion and welding characteristics, and is specially found much better than Silver Cadmium Oxide for Capacitive Switching as well as DC Switching application. MODISON manufacture and supply material as per customer’s specifications as regards doping elements.
